Africa Interactive - Strategy Consulting
Africa Interactive began as the hobby of two Dutch journalists with a passion for Africa, who wrote and distributed a newsletter with balanced content about the continent. The idea attracted the attention of two businessmen who provided seed funding for the company. Élan Consulting was contracted to develop business models and write the business plan that enabled Africa Interactive to attract €400,000 in venture capital funding. A year after developing its business plan, Africa Interactive reached a turning point in its growth and again contracted Élan Consulting to provide strategic recommendations on positioning, operational resources and investment opportunities.

Africa Report - Interim management
Élan Consulting was recruited to restructure World TV Report, a company facing financial difficulties, into Africa Report, a company producing TV programmes broadcast on CNBC Europe, and then to guide this company through its high-growth phase until it obtained financing to consolidate its presence on the African continent.
